Kindergarten Animal Habitat Project

Kindergarten students spent the spring learning about different animal habitats. They finished up the unit working in teams to build an animal habitat of their choosing.  Students were allowed to collaborate with students from other classrooms as they were divided into rooms based on their habitat choice.  They also learned a new technique for exploring their ideas and it was a real success!

Collaboration can be tough.  This organizer gives each student a space for their idea.  Students review the ideas and work together to create a collaborative concept in the center.
